   Things About Me And Stuff In General

   

   I’m 19, pansexual, female, living in England. My hobbies include not writing, procrastinating, tumblin’, poking Winamp, fondly caressing my computer screen and calling it ‘Drakky’ and wandering around the internet learning new stuffs.

   The things I do to procrastinate include Sims (2 & 3), inventing my own language with my best friend Ben, doodling as though I can actually do art, making gifs, doing insane typos, catagorising, plotting and otherwise organising things (you should see my excel sheets. They are works of art!).

   The thing about me, though, is that I’m not content just playing a game like the Sims. I used to indulge my creative side by writing stories in the Sims, but the Sims 3 makes that more difficult so, instead, I’ve turned to meshing, modding, designing worlds and just, you know, being creative in general. I’m learning about coding in S3pe, I’m learning meshing and 3D design in Milkshape and, honestly, I’m having a blast doing it!

   I also do the same with games like Mass Effect. I’ve extracted the models from ME2 and I do renders from it. You can see some of those here. 

   10 Random Things You Can Know About Me If You Really Want:

   1) I get tired easily and when I get tired I go through these phases. Phase 1 is complaining and yawning and saying I’m sleepy. Phase 2 is babbling, jumping up and down, acting like a mentally deficient 6 year old on a sugar high. Phase 3 is clingy to either the best friend, my Purple Plunderbunny or one of my parents. 

   2) I am slightly mental and get fixated on things easily. For example, I spent the week after finishing Portal 2 shouting, “SPACE! SPACE! WANNA GO TO SPACE! AM I IN SPACE? CAN WE GO TO SPACE? WANNA SEE ME? BUY A TELESCOPE!” 

   3) My favourite food is Sushi and potatoes. And fruit and veg. Seriously. If I’m unhappy, give me a bowl of mixed veg and I’ll be happy again. Or something with potato. 

   4) I get fixated on things really easily. Like, I’ll get new projects, like building a new subway system on the Sims, then I get bored within a few days. Things that stick with me for longer are guaranteed to be my new favourite thing once I’m done. 

   5) I’m a writer. This doesn’t mean I write. No, this means I stare at blank documents and mourn words. I also mourn the English Language and the fact it seems to be going down the drain. 

   6) My favourite TV shows are: Farscape, Stargate (all of ‘em!), Babylon 5, Doctor Who, Glee, Xena and some others I’ve probably forgotten and will add on the end later. Stick me in front of any of these when I’m unhappy and I’ll feel better. Same goes for the films Beauty and the Beast and The Odd Couple. Oh! And Some Like It Hot. 

   7) I play: Portal, Portal 2,  Sims 1, 2 & 3 (although only 2&3 currently), Call of Duty: Black Ops, Mirror’s Edge, Assassin’s Creed, Dragon Age: Origins, Sims Medieval, Rise of Nations, Space Colony, Pharaoh, Monkey Island and others I’ve forgotten. This is because I have NO LIFE.

   

   8) I love ancient mythology, especially Greek, Egyptian and Roman. My favourite story from Greek Mythology is the story of Demeter, Persephone and Hades: Hades kidnapped Persephone and took her down to hell to be his bride but Demeter, Persephone’s mother and Goddess of the Harvest, was so upset by this that she went into mourning and plunged the world into a winter. Eventually, Hades agreed that Persephone could be with her mother for 6 months and with him for the other 6, which is why we have winter and summer. That’s the myth, anyway.

   9) My favourite colour is blue, but I’m also partial to purple, orange and hot pink. 

   10) I’ll listen to any music you put in front of me. I don’t have favourite genres, I like what I like. Some things I don’t like, some things I do. I have very eclectic taste and I’ll happily jump from Glee to Snow Patrol, to Dragonforce, to Queen, to Status Quo, to Britney Spears, to Green Day to ZZ Top to… well, you get the picture.
