    Sophie’s Giant Torchwood Reclist of Awesome I thought I had more than this, but it seems I didn’t save as many as I’d like and a lot of journals have been deleted (put-that-away, I’m looking at you and will always mourn your fics). I’ll keep hunting though and might update from time to time, so this here is a link to this original post that you should check for updates. Yay! (All fics Jack/Ianto unless otherwise stated.)  The Top Five: The Oncoming Storm by d8rkmessngr (NC-17)                [This fic will always be my #1 favourite Torchwood fic. The characterisations are beautiful, the way she twisted the world into an AU was so perfectly done and it is long which allows for slow, gorgeous development. Don’t let the length put you off! It’s worth it and once you start you won’t be able to stop. Make sure you read the warnings though.] Unfixed Wishes by christine-twfan (NC-17)                [The first fic to ever make me bawl my eyes out. It’s such a beautiful, bittersweet journey with Ianto through Jack’s future alone and the ending is perfection.] It Started with a Broken Headlight by multiple authors (R)                 [Utterly hilarious. Each character is written by a different author and the story is told via emails sent between the Torchwood team. It’s one of those fics that had me bent double laughing my ass off and I got told off for making too much noise…] Brokeback Dalek by irener (R)                [I will never forget the tale of the gay daleks. Set during Doctor Who’s The Stolen Earth / Journey’s End, Ianto and Gwen witness two daleks who just can’t quit each other.] Things I Learned at Torchwood 1-50 by faithharkness (PG-13)                [Don’t let the OC POV put you off. It’s incredibly funny and well worth reading. There’s also 51-100, 101-150, 151-191 and Jack’s Rose’s turn.
