    Have Bored, Will Write.

    I do this occasionally, so here I am doing it now. Send me a prompt to my askbox - something simple, preferably, although I will accept complicated ones - including a pairing or character, a prompt (such as a word, phrase, or something like “Garrus gets to embrace eternity”) and, of course, a fandom, and I’ll try and write it to the best of my ability.

    001. My favourite game of all time isn’t what you’d think (Mass Effect) it is, rather, Monkey Island. Not any Monkey Island in particular… just the entire series.

    I grew up playing it. I wanted to be a pirate, I had the biggest crush on Carla the Sword Master of Mêlée Island (tm), I thought Guybrush and Elaine were the best couple ever, LeChuck scared the everloving shit out of me, and I thought a large number of female characters were male and male ones were female. 

    To this day, Monkey Island is guaranteed to make me smile no matter how gloomy it is, I will talk for hours to people I haven’t even known that long about how brilliant it is, I can quote long passages from it and I can remember most of the insults and retorts.

    By the way? You fight like a dairy farmer.
